Warming UP!!

So today I came home earlier. Sending all of the packages by dropping only and after that, decided to go straight home. I'm tired. And yes lemme tell you, everytime I come home, there will be (a) package(s) waiting for me. I love online shopping, there is an uncertain feeling of hope and surprise when I tear that package away. And today, there was one big fat package waiting as I entered my room.

Washing my hands, feet, and peepee, I then brutally opened the package. Uta was there, watching me as I went nut with the tape all over the package. He laughed and consistently asking "What is it Ibu? What is it Ibu? What is it Ibuuuu???" And TADAAAAAA..It's YAAAARRRRNNNN!!!! Hahaha. It's wool yarns with many beautiful ombre colors. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

 I then start to work. Bli blu bli bla blo ble la la la li li li du du du puci puci puci aaaaaand TADAAAAAA!!!

It's a scarf for him!! He loves the color, he loves the length, he loves the scarf!! (He asks me to put two or three pompoms at the end of the scarf, but we can do it later, can't we?)

"Thank you Ibuuuuuu. You are ibu hebaaaat." He said. And still using the scarf while watching Bernard Bear right now. Haha.

A stupid yet laughable (any such word?) stupidity. After I finished backstitching one of the mini pillow and turned  it over, I was confuse. Something wrong with this pillow. Eeer...Oh shoot, I haven't had the applique stitched. Huahaha. So I ended up glued them on.

Something called stupidity..*shaking my head off..

Oh btw, less laughable one, but I have to announce this!!

Yes, it's my studio.. :)

Hurray, finally I have time to blog again. Haiyaaa fellas, howayah? How was your hols? Mine was terribly boring. Hihi. But that's okay, I'll start teaching (and feeling alive) again in no time. :) Well here, I just want to show you my studio. Yup, MY STUDIO. *clapping hands, dancing* I finally use a room in my house to have this sanctuary built in. Just a room. Not even 3x3 meter square but lovely. And adorable. And well functioned. And ah, I just love it. Enjoy.

Huff..Ha..

Hmm..Two posts in one day. Sorry peeps, I'm havin my hols, what can I say? Hehe.

Here's the condition:
1. All of my fabrics is in my studio in Bekasi.
2. All of my felts is in my studio in Bekasi.
3. My dacron filling is there too.
4. Oh, basically all of my crafty needs and tools are there. AND.........
5. The housemaid GONE goes back to her village for this Idul Fitri Hols so that I have to stay at home, can't leave the house, can't go to my studio. :(

There's only fabric scraps that I took from Puri on the "sew together" day and basic tools that I always put inside my car and go along wherever I go. The fabrics are not even a yard and they're of the same motifs. *My fault it is, I shud've dig deeper to get more motifs.

I don't want to be a Miss Full-of-Complaint (thou I am being her right now) so I'm just playing with the materials I got here.

Firstly, of course I made yoyo. I've been clung to making yoyo for a week or so. I planned to make a wreath full of yoyo for christmas. But then I saw another felt rosie wreath from The Pretty Poppie and think it looks greater than a yoyo wreath. Haha. *random mind* So I'm making yoyo just for......oh well, just makin it, none aim to. Hihi.

Having a sack full of yoyo, I was getting bored and then turn one of the fabric into a pin cushion. I know it's not fancy but it's useful. My first pin cushion is actually a nice looking one, one that I don't like about it is that it can't stand still. It always roll, making it hard for me to reach to my pin ASAP (do you really need to get to your pin ASAP? No I suppose, I'm just being over.. :p) And I made this simple yet lovely pin cushion. Put one of the yoyo and a button on top of it, VOILA.

It's funny how we met. It's funny how we cooperate. It's funny how we ended up having great times together when I barely know you for so long. But that's us. Dysfunctional yet lovely. That's us. :)

Last Saturday, I went to my campus to attend a "Buka Bersama" event. Silka, a friend, asked me to come earlier so that we (Me, Silka, Onya, n Linda) wud have times to chat and "cornering Linda on every aspect until she says 'iiiiih, kalian kok begitu si sm akuuuu' with her tiny child voice" Hihi. I came at 3PM, directly to my last boarding house. My last boarding house, yes. Awkward feeling when I stepped in. Onya and I were among the first habitant there. I even left all my things there for months when I had to come home in a rush to accompany my pops last day. The host said okay and she didn't charge me for those months. So yeah, awkward feeling it was yesterday.

We chatted and chatted and chatted until 5.30 and decided it's a good time to leave to campus. When we arrived, the room was already packed. With people we don't know. Okay, I'm a bad senior, I don't know my juniors that much, even when they introduce themselves today, I will forget their names the next day. :P But Silka and Onya are actually good seniors. And even they say the didn't know most of the people there. Haha.

The juniors showed some performances. One is just a singing, another is a laugh-all-the-way dancing. This was their preparation.

I laughed and laughed till I forgot to take more pics. Hihi. But the boy in front of me was just too cute, I shouted "Hey youuuu, pose for us..Pose!!!" and he gave us this. Haha.

I came home late that night but so fresh with laugh I didn't even notice it was already 10PM. Yes, call me crazy, I think 10PM is already late. Hehe.

Finally it's done. I'm not kidding here, my 25y.of age has really challenged me in knowing how to design this and that in this new blog. Haha. I'm just being used to my previous blog on multiply that I put this account carelessly. Oh well..

Random stories:

Dea - my teaching partner for three years - had her birthday last week (kinda!). She asked for a pillow. I was happy and couldn't believe it cus I thought she would've asked for anything valuable than a handmade pillow. Hihi. I decided to go with my readystock cat pillow. Handstiched it for 2 days and VOILA!! Happy to hand her down the cat. As well as to see her face the first time she saw it. Priceless. On our way back to Jakarta, she slept in the car using the pillow. Oh how happy I was. Happy bday De, as u know, I'm giving cat pillow for free for preggies and when u asked for it, I was so sure to spread the rumor..Dea is PREGNANT!! LOL!!

Another pillow is for a fellow teacher at school. Me and Dea call him Poppa. He is (I suppose) the oldest male teacher in the school. He's in a difficult time right now. So I just wanna cheer him up by (oh what else?) giving pillow. It's just a rectangular cotton pillow with some saying that I wrote using my new shirt marker. "Be strong poppa..God be with you.." :) Oh, I'm just soooo religious!! *hammer

Oh and today, I joined fellow crafters having a "sew together" day. It's actually an event held by Puri for little girls but in cope with our feeling, we consider ourselves as little girls. Hihi. I made this beautiful (not) monster pillow. I'm really happy with the way it looks. Oh proud of me. *WHAT?? And nice meeting new friends, Cecil and July.. :)
